Meet the Owner

Karla was born and raised in the city of Lawndale. For elementary school she attended Anderson Elementary and it is there, even at that young age, that she knew she wanted to become a teacher one day. Karla eventually went on to get her college education and then worked as a French and Spanish teacher for 4 years in a private middle/ high school. Later on she began tutoring students privately. It was then that she decided to open a tutoring center in the heart of the South Bay - the city where she first fell in love with teaching all those years ago.

Love my classroom! Especially the brick

For test prep, he can tutor math for the GED, SAT, ACT, and CHSPE. He is looking forward to working with your child and making sure your child leaves with the concept solidified.

Karla has provided online Spanish lessons twice a week to my son and his friend - both 6th graders who were in a Spanish immersion elementary school. We wanted to continue their Spanish at a higher level than their middle school had available. She has been a great instructor - creating customized lessons for them weekly, engaging them in conversations, and helping them continue to use and develop their Spanish. And all of this has been completed virtually! She's also communicative with us parents, the school's administration, and supportive of the kids' learning needs. Can't recommend her enough for Spanish tutoring, conversation, or instruction!
